The New Miley Cyrus Album

This new record is actually….quite good! In a stimulating turn of direction, Miley treads unsuspected territory on Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz. It’s likely her recent collaboration with famed rock group, the Flaming Lips, has influenced the production of a psychedelic, special fx-laden piece of music . Let’s hope she continues producing work this interesting! Miley has been, initially consciously, going off in a direction that parallels the careers of some Disney-kids. Yet, the hyperreal appropriation of 90’s aesthetica and the blast of neon character in her public presence pits her against some of the biggest performance artists! Just don’t tell Miley we said that.
