Despite a perfect score and weeks of nearly flawless dancing, Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas were sent home on Monday night’s episode of #DWTS. But this Spy Kids star won’t let her team’s elimination get the best of her!Thanking fans for their kind words and humbly accepting what some view as an unfair elimination, Alexa PenaVega showed her good character to the Twitter world, last night. The actress and talented dancer refrained from negative comments about the results, simply tweeting, “What a journey…” to express her amazement at this season’s events and successes. What a journey, indeed. We applaud her for dancing her heart out this season and consistently earning the highest scores of the cast. We’re sad to see you go, Alexa!
