Rihanna joined the ranks of Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Beyonce as a recipient of the Video Vanguard Award when she was honored at the VMA’s on Sunday. The award, presented by rumored BF Drake, followed four… yes FOUR, amazing performances of Rihanna classics that proved how deserving the singer is. Rihanna accepted the award with her country in mind. This is the first Vanguard to “ever land close to [Barbados]” she said. We’re all so proud, Ri!
