Guide To: Highlighters
We love highlighting and it seems that strobbing is the next big trend at the moment.
Because we know how everyone likes to fake the glow for a more youthful appearance, we lined up some of our favorite highlighters ranging in price and formulation. We have something for everybody regardless of your price range.
Cream Highlighter:
Cream highlighters are amazing for an even dewier appearance so if you have dry skin and want even more of a glow then opt for this formulation.
High End: One of the best and most raved about cream highlighters is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Crème which comes in 6 shades, including the fan fave, Champagne Pop. These highlighters come in at $38 and are well worth the money!

Affordable: A great liquid/cream highlighter is the L’Oreal True Match Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator which comes in three shades and is $12. We love this one because it is formulated with your skins undertone in mind so pick one up with that in mind so that your highlight complements your skin tone.

Pressed Powder Highlighters:
Pressed highlighters are good for oily skin girls who want the glow without over doing the dew. These should also be used with a light hand because they tend to be a bit more pigmented.
High End: Make Up For Ever Pro Light Fusion Highlighter comes in 3 shades and looks beautiful on the skin. These highlighters look good on everyone and no matter what skin tone you have, one of these will look amazing on you!

Affordable: The NYX Illuminator is another great drugstore option for a pressed highlighter. This highlighter comes in 5 shades and is $9. We love this highlighter because there are so many different options to chose from and because it looks perfect on the skin and doesn’t exaggerate the look of pores like many pressed highlighters tend to do.

Highlighter Palettes:
Highlighter palettes are a great value for money, especially when you are all about the glow. These palettes typically come with three or four shades and are smaller pots than the full size single highlighter, but with three more to chose from it will last a long time.
High End: The Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit is the fan favorite and best seller of highlighter palettes! It comes in three different colors selections of palettes and is $40 for four highlighters. These are a great steal, even for high end beauty.
