Philosophy’s Mental Health Awareness Campaign
The beauty brand, Philosophy, is stepping up for mental health awareness through its Hope & Grace Initiative.
Philosophy is a mindful cosmetic brand that believes that beauty is more than skin deep and they aim to make you feel your best. In the beginning of May, to start off this year’s Mental Health Awareness Month, they launched their “How are you, really?” national campaign. The company has been working to erase the mental health stigma since 2014.
The campaign’s objective is to create conversation and for individuals to ask questions, all to combat the stigma surrounding mental health. Philosophy asked real women to open up about how they are actually feeling. The goal of the campaign is to ignite hope and support through vulnerability. The campaign pays particular attention to issues that affect women. Zelda Williams hosted Philosophy’s Hope & Grace Initiative luncheon in Los Angeles this month.
Philosophy also introduced an exclusive limited edition product, Amazing Grace, by partnering with Project 1 in 4, an organization dedicated to erasing the mental health stigma. The firming body emulsion product helps maintain the moisture level of dry skin and sells for $37.00. 100% of the proceeds goes directly to the Hope & Grace Initiative. The company has an everyday 1% net product sales donation to the Hope & Grace fund. The product represents their everlasting dedication to mental health and wellbeing.
The Hope & Grace Initiative has awarded $2.4 million to 38 US mental health organizations that provide support to more than 11,000 women. Philosophy has reached 1.2 million women through their education and awareness campaigns over the years.
Don’t miss out on this amazing product and opportunity to keep the conversation going!
