Courtney Love Misses Kurt Cobain
Ready for a case of the feels? On Friday, May 26, 2017, Courtney Love took to Instagram to share a #FlashbackFriday post of her ex-husband, Kurt Cobain. The caption read a simple, “I miss you.” Courtney Love’s photo choice shows a young, smiling Kurt Cobain — probably a picture from a family Christmas card, before the fame and the money.
Of course, in the comments, there were mixed reactions. One follower says, “We all miss him so much, Courtney. You are such an adorable and strong women. God bless you!❤️😘😭. ” Other people bash her heartfelt post with, “What a beautiful soul you destroyed, may you live with this for the rest of your life.” Another hostile comment reads, “…Is his money running out?” Nearly twenty-three years after Kurt Cobain’s suicide on April 5, 1994, it seems that some people just can’t let their suspicions about Courtney Love’s involvement up.
No matter what you believe — as a fan, as a woman — it’s important to note that Kurt Cobain was both a father and a husband. And it is true that he is greatly missed in those aspects, as well as in the music world. The King of Grunge will never die, and for that, we all thank him. Courtney Love has had to raise her child on her own, and has done quite a remarkable job of shaping now super cool artist, Frances Bean Cobain. Courtney Love will continue to pave the way for women everywhere in teaching what it means to mature, learn from your mistakes, and be an overall feminine rebel.
