‘Wind Up’ With Keke Palmer
Keke Palmer will wind you up with her new music video!
The week is almost over and you are probably drained, but it is time to “Wind Up” with Keke Palmer’s new single ,which debuted on her Youtube Vevo account on June 13. Four days ago she began teasing her Instagram followers with little clips and photos from the music video, leaving you all anxious. But the wait is over.
If you have not watched the video yet, you are in for a surprise. This music video consists of Keke performing on stage with other dancers for a crowd you faintly see, while changing into incredible outfits throughout the choreography. This song features Quavo, who raps solo in the video although occasionally joined by Keke. Both artists are made to look like holograms.
The lyrics for “Wind Up” describe Keke’s life and the hard work that led to her career. In one section, Keke proclaims “Since 9 years old, I been in the kitchen/Family gotta eat (eat), that mean I gotta get that cake/And I ain’t sittin’ down for no n****, feel me.”
In these lyrics, she shows that she has used her career to help her family and that no man could ever come in between that.
Her boss lady status will rub off on you, and this summer there are no excuses for not chasing your dreams.
