‘America’s Next Top Model’ Does Away With Age Limits

Age is nothing but a number, and Tyra Banks agrees!

Although Tyra Banks was absent for last season of America’s Next Top Model, she is back in full effect and has even changed a rule that will make future casts more diverse than ever before.

Banks announced via Instagram that age will no longer be a factor when choosing contestants. Previously, the show enforced a 27-years-old-and-younger age limit. Now, the only requirement is that you learn how to work a runway!

For those of you who missed Tyra Banks, you will see her soon in a season that will inevitably be different than the past 23 seasons.

In many ways this removal of age requirements reflects the inclusive direction that the fashion industry as whole is now heading in, not to mention that an increasinlgy diverse cast will also add a little bit more spice to this classic show.
