Vanessa Hudgens Remembers Her Father
This Father’s Day, Vanessa Hudgens reminds us all to never take anyone for granted. It’s been almost a year and a half since the passing of Vanessa Hudgens’ father who passed away on January 31, 2016, from cancer. During the time of his departure, Vanessa Hudgens had been starring as Rizzo for Grease: Live, expressing her mourning through an iconic performance of “There Are Worse Things I Could Do” in front of the world.
Nearly two years later, Vanessa Hudgens took to Instagram in honor of this Father’s Day to remind her followers how important it is to cherish the ones you love. She writes,
“Happy Father’s Day to all you dads out there. And To all of you who still have your pops around, cherish him. You never know how long they’ll have on this planet. Don’t take things for granted. Open your heart and love generously. Missing you dad ❤️”
No matter how you spent Father’s Day this year, remember to appreciate and honor those that are accessible to you. Be vocal about it. Let them know just how much they impact your life. Gratitude is often the greatest gift.
