Kelly Clarkson’s Fans Defend Her Against A Body Shamer

Kelly Clarkson is proud of her body weight although the body shamers keep on creeping in. On July 4th she tweeted, “Thank u 2 every person in service 4 protecting all of us and cheers to every person who fought for us to experience freedom and independence.” Her tweet was only meant to show her gratitude for those who fought their way to make America what it is today. Someone tweeted “You’re fat” in response as if that was important enough to overpower those who died and have died for this country. Clarkson’s fans were not going to accept this negative energy. They responded in various ways for Clarkson’s defense, some stated, “I’m sure she’ll cry about being fat while shining her Grammys and counting her money. Haters need to get a life” and “Body shaming, nice. He is a sad troll and you are beautiful in every way, Kelly.” Her fans did not hesitate to support her honor and were not shy to do so either.
Great success should not be over powered by minor things like body shaming and beauty standards, especially for women. Kelly Clarkson looks incredible and her weight will never be an issue to true fans who support her music and personhood.
