Alexis Bledel and Milo Ventimiglia Are Going To The Emmy’s and ‘Gilmore Girls’ Fans Are Delighted
“Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” may have been completely shut out of 2017 Emmy nominations, leaving fans disappointed. But there’s a small light at the end of the Emmy tunnel. That is if you’re on Team Jess.
Coming off the mega success of Netflix’s four-part revival, both Milo and Alexis have landed some of their best roles yet with Milo leaving us in tears each week on NBC’s “This Is Us,” and Alexis wowing viewers in Hulu’s, “The Handmaid’s Tale.” The Television Academy loved them both so much that they both received their first-time Emmy nominations.
Of course, that means that Rory Gilmore and Jess Mariano will be going to the Emmy’s together. Alexis responded to the nomination by writing, “I’m very grateful to be a part of the ‘Handmaid’s Tale,’ it’s an amazing company of actors and the incredible group of artists who bring this story to life…”
Milo has yet to respond to the great news.
You can catch the Emy’s Sunday, Sept. 17 at 8 P.M. on CBS with host Stephen Colbert.
