Disney Finally Found Leads For The Aladdin Live-Action Film
Get ready for a thrilling chase in a wonderful place!
Disney finally found their Aladdin and Jasmine for their upcoming Aladdin live-action film. Naomi Scott will play the role of Jasmine while Mena Massoud will play Aladdin. The news was announced at the D23 Expo event in Anaheim, CA on July 15th, 2017.
Naomi Scott may be recognized from Power Rangers where she played Pink Ranger/ Kimberly Hart. She also played Mo, a bass guitarist in Lemonade Mouth, a Disney original movie. Mena Massoud is an up and coming actor from Canada who appeared in the Canadian TV Series ‘Saving Hope.’
Will Smith was also cast to play Genie, a powerful spirit in the film. The release date is yet to be released by Disney, but it’s time to get ready for a whole new world.
