Serena Williams Thinks She’ll Have A Girl

Serena Williams and her fiancé think their first kid is going to be a girl! William’s fiancé, Alexis Ohanian, recently interviewed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, explaining their reasoning.

It’s pretty clear they both want the baby to be a girl, but it’s for entirely different reasons. After Williams won the Australian Open during her pregnancy, Ohanian explained that the iconic tennis player thought the baby had to be a girl. Her thought process: “everything that little baby went through and handled like a champ, only a woman could be strong enough to take on.”

Ohanian, on the other hand, shared how his own mom influenced his reasoning. After being raised by such a strong and amazing mother, he realized how powerful women really are when it comes down to it.

Powerful is right. These two are way too perfect for words, and we can’t wait until the arrival of the baby!
