Kesha Voices Her Support for Taylor Swift

As Taylor Swift’s sexual assault trial has been making headlines, many of her fans have been voicing her support—including Kesha!

Kesha, who famously suffered through years of sexual and verbal abuse, have not been able to release any music on her own terms until this summer.

Taylor Swift sued DJ David Mueller for sexual assault for USD $1.00, and she won the case. The sexual assault happened in 2013 when the DJ grabbed her butt while the two were taking a photo together. The USD 1.00 was to use her platform to make a point on sexual assault rather than for the money.

In keeping with her recent theme of recovery and support, Kesha took to Twitter to send a small, but heartfelt message to Swift: “@taylorswift I support you always, and especially right now and admire your strength and fearlessness. truth is always the answer.”

It looks like a new friendship (and hopefully, if the stars align, a new music partnership) is blossoming!
