Miley Cyrus Announced her Younger Now Album Release Date
It’s even earlier than we thought!
Singer and actress Miley Cyrus announced that her ‘Younger Now’ album will be released this Friday, August 18th!. The album will be her sixth and is sure to express her rejuvenated outlook on life.
She announced a later release on Instagram on August 8th by posting the title in a ropey script on the back of a bedazzled leather jacket. However, on August 13th, she posted that the album will come out earlier! Surprising us all with the best news!
Her first single, “Malibu,” definitely set the bar high for the rest of the releases, and the follow-up song “Inspired,” stayed in tune with the single. There are still a lot of secrets regarding the album. However, we know it will stray away from her usual hip-hop, beat heavy direction.
Miley explained that her hope for the album is to “give the world a hug and say “Hey, look. We’re good-I love you.’ And I hope you can say you love me back.” Her father, Billy Ray, commented that the album shows “Miley leaning into her roots more than I’ve ever heard… for her, this is honest.”
