MAC Is HonoringThe Late Aaliyah with New Makeup Line

After a Change.org petition, MAC is releasing a new makeup line inspired by the late Aaliyah. 

Last Thursday, MAC Cosmetics announced that they will be dropping a new makeup line inspired by the late R&B singer Aaliyah. The announcement came on the anniversary of her death.

Shortly after takeoff, her chartered plane crashed in the Bahamas in 2001. She had just filmed a video for one of her most famous hits “Rock the Boat.”

Completely inspired by fans, MAC finally decided to create the line after a change.org petition racked up over 26,000 signatures. Similarly, last year MAC released a line honoring the late Selena Quintanilla after fans signed a similar petition. The line is set to be released in the summer of 2018, so you have a lot of time to save!
