ABC Announces the New Bachelor
Welcome back Arie Luyendyk Jr.!
This week, ABC announced that Arie Luyendyk Jr. will be next seasons Bachelor. He appeared on season eight of The Bachelorette and finished as runner up. He didn’t end up winning over Emily Maynard’s heart, but now ABC is giving him another chance.
A lot of fans are left confused as to why he is the bachelor since his last appearance was in 2012. Some people aren’t even sure who he is! However, you will love this season whether you know him or not. On Emily’s season of “The Bachelorette” he was given the nickname “The kissing bandit,” and we are sure to see more of that this season. Since his occupation is a race car driver, he believes that his quick decisiveness will help him choose the right woman.
We can’t wait until the premiere of The Bachelor on January 1, 2018.
