Ayesha Curry is Named the Newest Face of Covergirl

CoverGirl announces Ayesha Curry as newest face for the brand.

We’ve all seen the faces of Ellen, Katy Perry, and Zendaya on CoverGirl displays when browsing the makeup aisles at Target.

Well, get ready to see a new, fresh face in November. Ayesha Curry, the wife of the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry, was pronounced as the newest celebrity endorser for CoverGirl earlier this week.

Upon the announcement, CoverGirl stated the new Peacock Flare Mascara would be released during the celebrity chef’s campaign. As a mom of two daughters, Curry seems to be excited to join a brand that is passionate about empowering women.

“My philosophy is all about seeking joy and creating balance in life. I’ve shared a lot about how I do this with food, family and faith, and now – through my partnership with CoverGirl,” she told People. It is certain that Curry’s daughters, Riley and Ryan are going to love seeing their mom as a spokesmodel for the fun, creative, and colorful brand.

As a racially mixed woman who is of Jamaican, Chinese, Polish, and African-American descent, it is clear that Curry demonstrates the epitome of diversity. With her contributions to CoverGirl, the brand is sure to follow along with brands like Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty, promoting diversity and celebrating women of different skin shades.

We can’t get enough of Curry’s adorable family and we’re sure the decision to choose her as the new Covergirl was “easy” and “breezy.” Sure enough, we can’t wait to celebrate the official launch of the “beautiful CoverGirl’s” campaign.
