Ed Sheeran just announced his North American Stadium Tour

Get ready for Ed Sheeran’s first-ever North American stadium tour.

After selling out many arenas, the “Shape of You” singer is ready for something bigger, stadiums. The tour will kick off on August 18th of summer 2018 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in California, and continue until November.

He is hitting major stadiums around North America including the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, Mercedes-Benz stadium in Los Angeles, and the Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts. Ed Sheeran is partnering with Ticketmaster to ensure that his tickets don’t go to scalpers or bots. That means that there will be more tickets available to his fans.

This announcement comes just after Ed released his new hit single “Perfect” along with the corresponding lyric video. In the first 24 hours that it was released, it achieved over 3 million views on YouTube. His album “÷” is two times platinum certified and continues to be the biggest selling album of the year so far. Along with that his song “Shape of You” is the most played song on streaming service Spotify.
