Issa Rae And Michelle Obama Gush Over The ‘Insecure’ Finale
There is some black girl magic happening between these two.
At the Inbound marketing event, Michelle Obama surprisingly fangirled out over Issa’s season two finale for ‘Insecure.’ Issa shared this in her post as she stated: “Me after my President told me she was mad about the #InsecureHBO finale fake out.” Like most fans, we were deeply hurt by the fake proposal Issa tricked us with.
It is no secret that the Obamas are hip to the music of the new generation and their current TV shows. This is an honor to Issa to know that the first lady is a fan of her show and that she is super locked in. What started as a YouTube drama and has now transitioned to one of the most talked about shows, is a major accomplishment. There is no telling where this show can take off to now.
We hope to see Issa prosper and continue to achieve all of her goals.
