NFL Protests Are Being Called A Joke By Actor

65-year-old actor, Steven Seagal referred to the NFL protests as a “joke” and “disgusting.”

Colin Kaepernick took the knee back in 2016 during a football game as a silent protest to the repeated killing of unarmed Black men. He protests because of the injustice people of color continue to face with the judicial system continuously failing to prosecute the perpetrators in the killings.

Football players and team owners took the knee on Sunday after Donald Trump criticized the NFL for not firing the players whenever they take to their knees in protest. The hashtag #TakeAKnee was trending on Twitter, both in support and protest of the action.

Actor, Steven Seagal, who gained Russian citizenship last year, interviewed with Good Morning Britain decided to criticize the NFL.

We shared the news earlier on our Twitter account:

Kaepernick started an organization in support of people knowing their rights and self-empowerment to youths. The organization is to inform individuals on why Kaepernick and other people take the knee. He is constantly praised for starting a movement where people can join in to support even if it is only by taking the knee.
