Sixty-Nine-Year-Old Maye Musk Named New CoverGirl Model
The newest face to CoverGirl Cosmetics is unconventional and we love it
Talented model Maye Musk has been modeling her entire life and will now be the new “easy, breezy, beautiful” CoverGirl spokesmodel.
Her first makeup ad was in the 60’s all the while attending school as a licensed nutritionist and dietitian obtaining two master degrees and brilliant career. Not only has she ran her own nutrionnist business for 45 years, she’s also spawned two amazing children: Elon, Tosca, and Kimbal Musk who have all sprouted to have amazing lives and careers themselves.
Musk will be considered the oldest spokeswoman to Covergirl which will be added onto the diversity now presented at the makeup empire. Just last year, CoverGirl announced it’s first CoverBoy James Charles as well as it’s first hijab spokeswoman Nura Afia. Musk posted on her Instagram commentary about the announcement, “Who knew, after many years of admiring the gorgeous COVERGIRL models, that I would be one at 69 years of age? It just shows, never give up.” Having diversity among all groups of society speaks mountains for young and impressionable minds of what is beautiful and it’s so amazing to see. Congratulations to Maye Musk, you deserve it!

My name is Kelsey Comeaux, I’m currently a Senior at McNeese State University, majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in New Media. I’ve always had an interest in creative media arts as well as music (four years private piano lessons) and slightly self taught acoustic guitarist ;) I remember making movies on my dad’s “Windows Movie Maker” growing up and showing them to my friends and family. Building on emotion and presenting an important message through my projects was such a fulfilling experience. I hope to do that on a wider base one day.
Other than that, I love sports and am naturally a competitive spirit. I love to go running for fun, as weird as that sounds; it’s such a great release for me during stressful times. I also enjoy writing, short fiction is my expertise, as well as reading various novels mostly consisting of Science Fiction and Romance. Anything dealing with an adrenaline rush involving the outdoors I’m game for. I’m here to explore, love wildly, feel passionately, and have diligence deriving from the soul.
