‘Fast and Furious 9’ Is Delayed + Tyrese Calls Out Dwayne
The recent push back comes as a surprise to fans after it’s initial set date.
It seems all is not well in the Fast and Furious Family with Tyrese calling out Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock.Earlier this month, Gibson posted several since-deleted rants on Instagram, both on his own page and in the comments of Johnson’s posts, expressing his betrayal over the rumored Hobbs spinoff and accusing his co-star of ignoring his texts.
Tyrese has since posted this pic with Dwayne asking him to call him. He captioned his pic, ” don’t do email bruh You got my cell same San Diego # hit me”
Universal announced that instead of releasing the ninth installment like everyone had hoped, it would be delayed another year. After the tremendous success of The Fate of the Furious, which brought in 532 million worldwide, fans were expecting the tenth installment to be on schedule. Whether it is now or years later, fans will still be ready to the crew ride.
Over the years, this franchise has grown a huge fan base. For almost 20 years, fans have followed the storyline and even grown with the characters. After the loss of Paul Walker, it was thought that the franchise would end, but fortunately the crew was able to overcome it and honor his legacy. Seeing our favorite screen family together is what has made this franchise so special.
We are excited for this franchise to continue and cannot wait for the next movie.
