This Movie Will Bring Chills + it Drops on Friday the 13th
Happy Death Day hasn’t been released yet, but is already being labeled as a must see.
The movie follows Tree Gelbman, played by La La Lands Jessica Rothe, as she relives the same day over and over again until she finds out who is trying to kill her. Kill her on her birthday at that.
She wakes up every morning in a dorm room which belongs to Carter Davis. With the help of Davis, played by Israel Broussard, they come up with the plan that ultimately sets the movie into motion: find out who the murderer is before they can kill Gelbman. Of course, Davis forgets the plan daily, but she continues to live the day and follow through with their plan.
Gelbman starts out as a bratty, uncaring, sorority girl who only looks out for herself. When she starts reliving the nightmare that is her own murder, she slowly starts to change. She rekindles her relationship with her dad, smiles to those who walk by and stops caring about her image as much.
The movie comes out on Friday, October 13th. It is the perfect time to get a group of girls together to go see it or finally ask your crush to the movies. Plus, don’t you want to find out who the killer is?
