Viola Davis Is Set To Produce a New Comedy Show
This beauty is taking her talents to a new level.
Viola Davis has taken the opportunity to produce a new comedy show. The series will be called “Black Don’t Crack.” This title is based after a catchphrase that is used heavily in the African American community. It bases around the idea that African Americans do not show signs of aging. This show will center around three sorority sisters who have recently rejoiced after growing apart following college. The main theme of this show will explain the internal struggles one might face on their own.
For Davis, who is currently the star of How To Get Away With Murder, this is a whole new route. She is known to take on roles that show a serious, drama-oriented perspective of life. This entrance into comedy will be new and a chance for her to reflect her experiences in a comedic light. Davis and her husband will be teaming up with Insecure creator Larry Wilmore to produce this show.
We are excited to see this show and all that Viola has in store for us.
