K. Michelle Releases New Single ‘Make This Song Cry’

K. Michelle recently released a new single called  “Make This Song Cry.”

There’s one thing you can say about K. Michelle. She not only has a beautiful voice but she puts in the work. She’s a role model for other women in that she handles herself in business. With sponsorships from brands like Johnny Walker and a restaurant in Atlanta, Puff & Petals Lounge, there’s nothing this diva can’t do.

With her latest single off The People I Used to Know, the R&B queen reinvents Bobby Glenn’s “Sounds Like a Love Song,” similar to  Jay Z’s sample for his version of “Song Cry.” This song allows K. Michelle to give us her amazing vocals about heartache and love lost. “I’ma make this song cry,” she sings. “Never let a ni**a see me cry.”

“My new album @thepeopleiusedtoknow is really amazing,” she wrote on Instagram. “it took long enough huh? While you wait rock 2 my new single.”

Her album dropping later this year, is also set to feature Jeremih (“Takes Two”) and Princess Nokia (“Princess Nokia Outro”).
