Issa Rae Proves to be More Relatable Than Ever

The Insecure goddess not only makes us nod our heads in agreement on screen but also every time she posts on social media.

Of course, we never had any doubt that Issa Rae was a Twitter Goddess, but she has been killing the game as of late.

On her show, Issa goes from trying to make sure she’s taken seriously at work, to making sure her parties are what give people major FOMO. Now, it seems that she’s not much different than her onscreen counterpart.

In a recent twitter post, the comedienne posted a highly relatable post saying: “My listening face,” followed by the internet meme Gavin flashing a pained smile. The tweet has received over 3,800 retweets and even more likes, with people replying with their own take of the hilarious tweet.

In another tweet, Issa thanks the many people that always make her laugh, attaching a gif from Mindy Kaling’s The Mindy Project, saying “Thank you so, so much. I can never repay you, and I don’t plan to.” The post got over 1.2 thousand likes in less than 12 hours, even more, people relating with and replying to the tweet.
