Niall Horan’s Success No Surprise to Directioners

The 24 year old Irishman from Mullingar was always known as the “cute” one in his boyband days, but now this boy has grown into a man with feelings.

It comes as a surprise to no one that during the One Direction hiatus that each of the boys respectively took on their own individual projects. While it was expected that Harry Styles would carry on in the spotlight, Niall Horan has taken up that baton, and released some amazing songs to boot.

His album, Flicker, has shown his heart and his range and has made all of us swoon in a way that we’ve missed from the Irishman’s solo debut “This Town.” We hope to continue hearing more of Niall’s music and seeing where his journey takes us!

In a recent interview with Ellen, she revealed that Niall is already being nominated for Best New Artist by the American Music Awards, to which he humbly replied “well, I’ve been around for a while.” He then told DeGeneres that he continues to see the rest of the One Direction members, seeing one at a concert, while getting together with the others. He continues to openly support their music, Liam releasing his own song today, Louis releasing a relatable ballad a few days ago, while Harry continues to tour after releasing his album, and a movie, earlier this year.

As much as we enjoy to see the boys strive on their own, we’re also hoping to have our boys reunite soon.
