Megyn Kelly Speaks Out Against Bill O’Reilly

Kelly left Fox News this past summer for NBC, after she had dealt with sexual harassment within the company.While Megyn has had a rocky start with her new NBC morning talk show, she took the opportunity to speak out against her former employer. Bill O’Reilly has stated before that no one at Fox News had complained about his conduct, which Megyn had a lot to say about.

“O’Reilly’s suggestion that no one ever complained about his behavior is false. I know because I complained,” she stated.

Megyn went on to reveal portions of an email that she did in fact send to Fox co- presidents in regards to O’Reilly, after he said he didn’t want to speak of scandals against him because it would make Fox look bad.

It read, “perhaps it’s his own history of harassment of women which has, as you both know, resulted in payouts to more than one woman, including recently, that blinded him to the folly of saying anything other than, “I am just so sorry for the women of this company, who never should have had to go through that.”

This is not the first sexual scandal Fox News has had to handle, as the company’s CEO Roger Ailes spent his last year of life in a plague of decades worth of scandals surfacing.
