Calvin Harris Releases Music Video For “Faking It”
The music video for the song “Faking It”produced by Calvin Harris ft. Kehlani and Travis Scott was recently released.
The song may be heard on Harris’ “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1″ album. The album wenst as far as being number two on the Billboard 200 and U.K. Charts. “Faking It” seems to find a middle ground between 1980s pop and speedy bass. Kehlani and Lil Yachty were two of the 22 featured guests on Harris’ new album. Others include Katy Perry, Frank Ocean, Pharell Williams and Big Sean.
The video takes place in an ice palace which is either half-constructed or melting. In the midst of the ice palace, the landscape is stormy and surreal. When Lil Yachty and Kehlani do appear, they’re seen performing in front of what looks like a car made of ice. Later on, the car gets smashed with a hammer and Calvin Harris discretely shows up with some sunglasses while sitting at a piano.
This isn’t Harris’ only success for the current album which was released late June of this year. Harris recently announced that it went gold. Several other singles like “My Way” and “Feels” went platinum. “Slide” which features Frank Ocean just went platinum for the second time. Harris released “Faking It” as one of the official singles from the album. You can watch the video below.
