Normani Kordei Opens Up About Going Solo

Normani Kordei inks solo management deal.

Don’t freak out, Fifth Harmony is not breaking up. Normani Kordei just wants to discover who she is outside of singing alongside the other band members Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane Hansen and Ally Brooke Hernandez. This past year the group parted ways with group member Camila Cabello and released their third studio album. Kordei is excited about the journey on whiich she is about to embark.

In a recent interview with Kode Magazine she says, “It’s amazing because it’s like a new beginning within a new beginning. We were reborn and now I would be able to take away everything that I’ve learned. I’m ready to see what is next for Normani.”

She intends to move forward and not look back to dwell on the past. Although the artist has not announced what exactly her plans are. She loves to be in the studio. In fact, she has already been in the studio with fellow singer Khalid whose debut single, “Location” has gone certified platinum. She says she has been wanting to work together for some time now.
