Blake Lively’s Birthday Revenge on Ryan Reynolds
The Deadpool actor and his wife, formerly of Gossip Girl, shows that with love comes jokes.
A few months ago, Ryan Reynolds posted a photo to celebrate his wife, Blake Lively’s birthday, he posted a picture of himself and Lively. The kicker was that his wife was mostly cropped out of the photo, with the caption reading “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife.”
Reynolds is pretty well known for his sense of humor, both on and off the screen, especially with his work on Deadpool, and with his hilarious tweets on fatherhood. It is lesser known just how hilarious the former Serena Van Der Woodsen is.
On her husband’s birthday, she finally got her revenge and posted her photo of her husband. Only this time, it was a picture of Reynolds and Ryan Gosling, who her husband is often confused with, and the picture was cropped to show mostly Gosling, the caption reading “Happy birthday, baby.”
Reynolds responded in the only way that he could: a very dry “Awesome” to his wife’s already sarcastic post.
Lively then proceeded to a gif of herself and Reynolds together, the actress faking a jab at her husband. Actual #CoupleGoals!
