Liam Payne Shows No Signs of Slowing Down

The former One Direction star released his latest song “Bedroom Floor” last week.Days before he accepted a platinum plaque for his hit song “Strip That Down.” Of the remaining four members of the former boyband, Liam has taken his time releasing his new edgy sound and the songs going along with it.

Liam has not hinted at when his debut album will be released, which is totally understandable. Liam has been on a nonstop promo tour of his current singles, and is scheduled to perform at the MTV EMA’s this November.

The singer also welcomed his first child, Bear, this past spring with his girlfriend, “X- Factor” judge, Cheryl Cole. There has been speculation of a duet for the two, as Cole was a member of the UK girl group Girls Aloud before joining the singing competition. There have also been questions of Cole’s return to the TV show, or if she will devote her time totally to her own music and their baby.

My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless… wow! I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far. I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true. We haven’t named him yet but he’s already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed. Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

The only other member of One Direction who hasn’t released an album is Louis Tomlinson. However, he has reassured fans that it is on its way very soon. We will definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for Liam’s next announcement, hoping it is a mention of his first album.
