In Lana Del Rey’s popular song “Cola”, Lana makes reference to Harvey Weinstein with the lyrics “Harvey’s in the sky with diamonds, And it’s making me crazy, All he wants to do is party with his pretty baby.”

The decision was made after the several allegations pit against Hollywood Movie Mogul Harvey Weinstein. The song was about having an affair with an older man, which Lana Del Rey found entertaining at the time, but now feels very sad about.

In an interview with MTV News following the allegations, Rey described that relinquishing the song was the right choice stating,“I envisioned, like, a benevolent, diamond-bestowing-upon-starlets visual, like a Citizen Kane or something. I’m not really sure. I thought it was funny at the time, and I obviously find it really sad now.”

Starting in January next year, Lana will be going on tour to promote her album Lust for Life.
