Misty May-Treanor Welcomes Twins
Congrats to Misty May-Treanor.
Misty May-Treanor, a sand volleyball Olympic athlete, gave birth to twins earlier this month. This is her second and third child with her husband Matt Treanor. Matt is a former professional Major League Baseball (MLB) catcher. They welcomed their first daughter Malia Barbara Treanor back in 2014, and she is now three years old.
May-Treanor participated and won gold medals in the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Summer Olympics in beach volleyball alongside Kerri Walsh Jennings. Together, they have been called the greatest volleyball team of all time. She retired in 2o12 after the 2012 Olympic Games. Last year, the three-time Olympic gold medalist was inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame.
