Issa Rae’s Covergirl Collection Is Here

Insecure star, Issa Rae recently got a Covergirl contract.

Now the time has come, her first collection is finally here.

She has introduced the Melting Pout Metallics. It has 12 different liquid metallic shades that range from a nude color named “Extra” to a noticeable pink called “Mic Drop.” The pink is Rae’s everyday go-to she tells Cosmopolitan. She says it is fun and casual, but it still pops.

“There has always been this thing we, dark skinned woman, can’t wear bold lips or we aren’t supposed to touch red or orange lipsticks,” Rae continues. “I definitely think that’s evolved entirely. I’ve definitely believed that for a while, but now I almost want to prove that wrong.”

You can purchase the collection online for $7.99 each or three for $20 with a bonus of free shipping. The Melting Pout Metallics will be widely available in December.
