Trader Joe’s Is Selling ‘Jingle Jangle’ + ‘Riverdale’ Fans React
“Jingle Jangle” is now sold in Trader Joe’s stores.
Alright, so it isn’t the drug that is sold in “Riverdale” that is being sold in Trader Joe’s stores. However, it is just as addicting. The actual product being sold in stores is a mix of chocolate-covered pretzels, caramel corn, peanut-butter cups, and cookies which is sold in a festive holiday tin. It’s being sold for $8.99. It’s also being sold as an ice cream flavor.
In an interview on Vulture’s website, a store representative revealed where the name came from. “Trader Joe’s Jingle Jangle was introduced years ago. It’s just a fun name that plays off of sleigh bells referenced in Christmas carols, since it is a holiday item. It’s also a fun way to describe the sound customers might hear when they give the tin can a shake.”
Fans of the show didn’t let it go when they heard that “Jingle Jangle” was real.
I can’t believe they’re selling this right out in the open at Trader Joe’s pic.twitter.com/YY5MBJib1G
