Justin Bieber Rallies Behind California Fire Donations
Those affected need our help more than ever.
Justin Beiber posted to this video on his Instagram account vowing to use all his resources to help those affected by the wildfires in California. He promotes the resources available where you can donate food and supplies to those affected by the recent Los Angeles wildfires demolishing various estates and property.
The donations ask for clothing, baby wipes, toys, blankets, pillows, sheets, hygiene products, and water to be sent to either Vision LA or The Standard Hollywood. Times are also posted below these zones and include a December 8th time from 3-6 P.M at Vision LA and from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, December 10th.
The southern California fire recently switched from being wind-driven to fuel-driven as of Friday. The fire has since its beginnings increased to 143,000 acres, most of the advance coming on the north side of the blaze, where flames ravaged mountainsides in the Los Padres National Forest.
Mandatory evacuation orders for Ventura, Santa Paula, and some unincorporated areas were lifted for those potentially affected as planes have been dropping gallons of water daily on the blaze.
My name is Kelsey Comeaux, I’m currently a Senior at McNeese State University, majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in New Media. I’ve always had an interest in creative media arts as well as music (four years private piano lessons) and slightly self taught acoustic guitarist ;) I remember making movies on my dad’s “Windows Movie Maker” growing up and showing them to my friends and family. Building on emotion and presenting an important message through my projects was such a fulfilling experience. I hope to do that on a wider base one day.
Other than that, I love sports and am naturally a competitive spirit. I love to go running for fun, as weird as that sounds; it’s such a great release for me during stressful times. I also enjoy writing, short fiction is my expertise, as well as reading various novels mostly consisting of Science Fiction and Romance. Anything dealing with an adrenaline rush involving the outdoors I’m game for. I’m here to explore, love wildly, feel passionately, and have diligence deriving from the soul.
