Taraji P Henson Lands Cover of Iris Covetbook

Taraji P Henson slays her shoot with Iris Covetbook.

The actress has four pictures of her from her shoot with the magazine on all forms of social media. Not one is like the other and the same can be said about Henson. The pictures go from blonde bombshell to showcasing a large and beautiful afro. The shoot comes from an interview Henson did surround her new movie ‘Proud Mary,’ sisterhood and how it feels to see and play characters of color.

In her interview, Henson dives deeper into the sisterhood she witnessed growing up.

“My mother was one of five sisters, so I grew up watching sisterhood. I’m real tight with all of my cousins. We never snitched on each other. We all got in trouble together, and we all went down together. We learned that from our mothers, watching them and how close they are. So, of course I’m going to be like that with other women. I don’t understand hating another woman. We go through so much as women. Why am I, another woman, going to add to the stresses that women already have? Why would I do that?“
