Olympic Gymnast Simone Biles Named Honorary Houston Texans Cheerleader
Simone Biles received the legendary red boots from the Houston Texans cheerleaders as she was named an honorary member of the NFL squad.
Biles confirmed via Instagram and is “officially ready for game day” as she trades in her leotards for those red boots.
Simone is set to dance with the team on Dec. 10 in NRG Stadium. The former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant could not contain her excitement as the girls passed around the pair of red boots to give to her.
“As our first honorary Houston Texans cheerleader, we would like to present you with some legendary red boots,” a Texans cheerleader said before handing over the boots in a video posted by the team.
The Texan cheerleaders expressed their excitement on Twitter, and cannot wait to share the field with Biles. Simone is set to strut her stuff in H-Town on Sunday when the Texans face the San Francisco 49ers.
