Hoda Kotb Replaces Matt Lauer as Co-Anchor for the ‘Today Show’
Hoda Kotb will be replacing Matt Lauer as the co-anchor to Savannah Guthrie on NBC’s Today Show.
After the recent scandal of Lauer in 2017, NBC took action and fired him. Hoda Kotb is bringing in the new year as the new co-anchor in replace of Matt Lauer on Today. The talk show host is famous from her show with Kathie Lee Gifford on Kathie Lee and Hoda.
Hoda Kotb has already received so much and support from fans, family, and co-workers. Kathie Lee tweeted, “So happy for my dear friend @hodakotb !! Congratulations on being named the new Co-Anchor of @Todayshow !! Nobody does it better!!”

Hoda will co-anchor for the Today Show alongside Savannah Guthrie and she will continue to co-host with Kathie Lee on Kathie Lee and Hoda.
