‘Scandal’ Ending Date + Shondaland News

We’re really going to miss you Scandal.

Scandal, which began airing in 2012, will air its last episode on April 19. The ABC drama will resume its 7th and final season on January 18.

However, starting March 29, Scandal will be pushed back to 10/9c to make room for the new Grey’s Anatomy spin-off. It is at this time slot it will air its final four episodes.

The untitled Grey’s Anatomy spin-off, which takes place at a Seattle firehouse, has a two-hour premiere on March 22 at 9/8c. The show features Grey’s Anatomy actor, Jason Winston George in his Grey’s role as Dr. Ben Warren.

The rest of TGIT, Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder, also returns on January 18 at their respective times.

The new Shondaland series, For the People, which features Girlboss‘ Britt Robertson’s, will premiere on Tuesday, March 13. The series will be a legal drama surrounding “new lawyers for both defense and prosecution” as they manage to balance high profile cases and their personal life.
