When No, Means No: Sexual Allegation Claims in Hollywood Keep Growing with Aziz Ansari
Sexual allegation claims continue to grow with a woman accusing Aziz Ansari of sexual misconduct.
Aziz Ansari has been accused of sexual misconduct by a woman who went on a date with him in 2017. The woman went on to say that the two went back to his apartment after dinner where Ansari was persistent even though the woman was uncomfortable. Ansari said that he was “surprised and concerned” when finding out that their evening wasn’t consensual.
This has brought to light the question of when does “No,” mean “No,” when having relations with someone. Shouldn’t a woman have a right to say “No,” to any sexual act, even if she has kissed them or performed other acts? A woman is not obligated to engage in sex. Many women have come to the defense of the photographer stating that they have come into contact with guys like Aziz, who paw at you until you give in to their requests by being relentless and who think that by saying “No,” you really mean “Yes.” Sorry, that’s only in the movies. When a woman says “No,” she means “No.”
This has been yet another accusation against men in Hollywood. Among other men accused are Danny Masterson from The Ranch, Matt Lauer from The Today Show, and comedian Louis C.K to name but a few.
