New App Surfaces Through #MeToo Movement in Sweden
A new app has flourished due to the #MeToo Movement and it is changing the game for potential lovers.

News confirmed a new app has blossomed through the #MeToo Movement and it is changing the way people “hook up.” The ‘Legal Fling,’ an app formed by the Swedish company, LegalThings One, is a consensual dating app where you swipe to give consent. The app was inspired by the #MeToo movement and keeps everything legal and unchanged once you swipe.
The app allows people to get consent without being awkward and killing the mood. This app will fill those gray areas where we just are not sure about whether things are okay, so without signing a contract, people can quickly give consent or not and can clearly state what crosses the line and what does not.
The app is currently still used in Sweden in response to Sweden’s new laws on sexual assault.
