‘Grown-ish’ Is Renewed for Season 2

The Freeform series Grown-ish, a spin-off of ABC’s Black-ish, has just been renewed for a second season.

The show was initially created when producers just felt that the journeys of some characters on Black-ish were not over yet. Among these characters is Yara Shahidi as the main character of Zoey who is from Black-ish, along with other industry all-stars Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Chloe X Halle Bailey and more. With so many incredible actors in one show together, it’s no surprise to hear how well it has been doing.

With the show attracting the largest number of Freeform viewers in six years in comedy, it’s clear that we’re not the only ones that have been loving the show so far. The series follows Zoey’s journey leaving her home and heading out to her freshman year in college. As the show carries on next season into her sophomore year, we know that we as well as 1.56 million total viewers cannot wait to tune in.
