Sarah Hyland Joins the Women’s March 2018

After joining in on the second annual event, Hyland addresses thousands and talks to us backstage.
“This is just one day… but this has to be a lifestyle,” Hyland says. As though she was preparing for battle, Sarah Hyland geared up for the second annual Women’s March in Los Angeles. The star who has just begun filming Modern Family again made her way onto a new stage.
While thousands gathered in Pershing Square in downtown, she took the rally stage as one of the celebrity speakers to address the ongoing issues women are facing worldwide. As an advocate for women’s rights and equality, Hyland used her platform and spoke passionately about the current events.

On Saturday afternoon, Hyland said, “If we have learned one thing this year it’s that we are not alone. We are not alone. Millions of women have marched, millions of women have raised their voices and told the world, hey, MeToo. And now, united, we have declared that the time is up. Time’s up. Time’s up on men harassing women. And assaulting women. And getting away with it.”
In an interview with Hyland, she admitted, “I am so proud to stand in solidarity with our sisters and amazing men supporting us. I think that’s super important as well, not just all of us uniting, but just everyone.” The star was joined alongside her Bachelor beau Wells Adams.
