Chicago Police Department Supervises Women’s March in Trump Hotel

The Trump International Hotel and Tower let officers use one of their conference rooms to police the Women’s March this past weekend.
About 100 cops were seen being briefed in the conference room. CPD spokesman Anthony Guglielmi confirmed the location, stating that the room was used due to its central location.
He went on to state that “CPD had officers assigned to a number of downtown locations on Saturday to ensure the safety and security of everyone who attended the demonstration.” So they weren’t attempting to send a message to marchers when choosing Trump’s hotel as one of their locations to police the event.
Regardless, protestors continue to fight against Trump’s policies.
