Hoda Kotb Talks Adopting Her Daughter + Becoming ‘TODAY’ Co-Anchor on Ellen
Hoda Kotb, who was recently named the new co-anchor of TODAY made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Kotb appeared on Ellen’s show and talked about all of her triumphant moments that have recently occurred in her life. Those triumphant moments included adopting her adorable baby girl, Haley Joy, and transitioning to her new role as official co-host of NBC’s longest-running morning show, the TODAY Show.
Kotb went into detail on her experience with adoption and how she got the call that confirmed everything and changed her and her boyfriend’s life. She also mentioned how her boyfriend, Joel Schiffman, was on board with the adoption.
After Hoda’s heart-warming baby news, Ellen decided to play a game, which is a special TODAY edition of “Rate My Baby.” Ellen also surprised Hoda with a year supply of Huggies and a trophy to show off to her TODAY family.
