‘Jane the Virgin’ Teases Rosario Dawson’s Appearance

We’re getting our first glimpse of Rosario Dawson on Jane the Virgin.

The CW show released a teaser trailer for Rosario Dawson’s upcoming guest star appearance. In the teaser, Dawson’s character is interacting with Petra Solano (Yael Grobglas), who is a South Beach hotel owner on the show. Dawson’s character can be seen telling Petra, “You’re not the most sympathetic defendant.”

Earlier this month, Dawson was confirmed to be joining the cast of the network romantic comedy. The actress will be featured in a multi-episode arc in the back half of Season 4. Details of her role are currently unknown. Although, the trailer does hint her character may be involved in the investigation of the death of a former hotel employee.

On Instagram, Dawson shared her time on Jane the Virgin’s set during Gina Rodriguez’s directorial debut. Dawson currently stars as Claire Temple on Marvel’s Netflix superhero shows. The character, Claire Temple first appeared on Daredevil, later having a role on Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders.

Jane the Virgin returns January 26 at 9 pm EST on The CW.
