Pharrell Williams Discusses N.E.R.D. + Producing Justin Timberlake’s New Album on Ellen
The amazingly talented musician makes an appearance on The Ellen Show to talk about N.E.R.D. album and performs their new hit single “Lemon.”
It has been seven years since N.E.R.D., the duo of Pharrell and Chad Hugo, made an album. Pharrell explains to Ellen that the experience consisted of him dying his hair green, which made him jump back into music with his band.
Ellen also mentions how the “method” musician recently welcomed triplets into the world with his wife. Williams describes his three new babies as “beautiful and intense.”
Also the producer of Justin Timberlake’s upcoming album, Man of the Woods, Pharrell tells Ellen how him and JT have the same rapport since they’ve been working together. Ellen also introduces Pharrell to Demarjay Smith, an 11-year-old fitness expert and motivational speaker from the Bronx, NY and is featured on N.E.R.D.’s song “Secret Life of Tigers.” After Smith did his 2018 motivational speech, Pharrell was touched and said, “With kids like that, this country’s gonna be just fine.”
Pharrell also gave an amazing performance of his song with N.E.R.D. “Lemon.” This hot single is off of their album, No_One Ever Really Dies.
